At AVC, our mission is to educate and train individuals in the sport of volleyball within an inclusive, safe, and diverse environment. We are dedicated to building fundamental skills, fostering character development, and promoting teamwork among our members.

Objectives & Expected Level Of Play By Division
AVC 12s
For our 12 and under girls interested in learning the basics of volleyball skill as well as knowledge of the game. The following will be our goals:
- passing
- serving
- setting
- 2 days/week of practices
- Tournaments and Regionals
AVC 14s
For our 14 and under girls that are interested in continuing the development in their skills and consistency. The goals will be:
- passing
- serving
- setting
- rotations
- 2 days/week of practices
- 10+ tournaments for the year
- Regionals
AVC 16s
For our 16 and under girls that want to continue their development and broaden their knowledge of the sport. Their objectives will be:
- out of system plays
- rotations
- 2 days/week of practice
- 10+ tournaments for the year
- Regionals
AVC 17s
For our 17 and under girls that want to continue their development and advance their knowledge of the sport. Their objectives will be:
- out of system plays
- rotations
- 2 days/week of practice
- 3-4 tournaments for the year
- regionals (TBD)
AVC Boys
With boys volleyball becoming more popular in the PNW and as it has become an emerging sport with OSAA, our goal is to provide an opportunity for our boys to learn and develop their volleyball skills and knowledge.
Depending on interest, we may have practice squads or tournament teams.
AVC Beach
For any of our athletes that want to continue their game on to the sand, we will also have doubles or quad opportunities to participate in 1-2 summer tournaments.
